Dan Panorama Hotel
The Dan Panorama Tel Aviv is the Conference venue. The hotel is situated across the road from the Mediterranean and is within walking distance of many of the city's attractions and sea front bars and restaurants. It is just a walk down the promenade to the ancient port city of Jaffa, where you can wander around the artists’ quarters, narrow alleys and flea market. A walk in the opposite direction will take you into Tel Aviv, where you can stroll through the Carmel market or the quaint Neve Tsedek neighborhood.
The hotel offers many facilities, including a fitness center and spa.
The Conference will be conducted in English.
Letter of Invitation
Upon request, the Secretariat will send a personal letter of invitation to participate in the Conference. It should be understood that such an invitation is only meant to assist participants raise travel funds or obtain a visa and does not represent a commitment on the part of the Organizing Committee.
Prior to booking your ticket, don't forget to ensure that your passport is valid until at least 6 months after entry into Israel.
Participants from most countries do not require a visa to enter Israel, but we suggest that you check this with your travel agent or on the website of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Climate and Clothing
The weather in Tel Aviv in November/December can be anywhere between 18-20°C during the day with lows of 13°C at night. Rain can be expected. Clothing is informal for all occasions
The currency in Israel is the New Israeli Shekel (termed as the Shekel, but written NIS).
As at January 2018, rates are:
USD = ~3.45 NIS
EUR = ~4.1 NIS
